Of course she had: what the locals called an ‘alligator snapping turtle’ was enormous, thickly spined, and resembled nothing so much as the illegitimate offspring of a rhinoceros and a pangolin – one with a bad, bad hangover and the head of a dinosaur.

I have been hiding fandom in my underwear drawer for over 20 years. I am not going to speculate on the underwear of fictional characters who may, or may not, also be stuffed in the same drawer. Storage space is at a premium.
