What is the 3 Sentence Ficathon?
This is a challenge where you answer a prompt with a fic consisting of only three sentences. It's open to all fandoms and you can post and answer as many prompts as you like, as many times as you want.

What do I do?
You post prompts! When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence.

Only one prompt per comment please.

What else?
You answer other posters' prompts in three sentences (or more if you can't stop yourself) and fill as many prompts as you want, as many times as you wish. If you see that a prompt you loved has already been filled, go ahead and fill it again! Multiple fills of the same prompt allowed.

How long can it go?
CaramelSilver kept the 2011 3 Sentence Ficathon up for a month. I'd suggest closing it on Sunday, April 7, 2013. How does that sound? (edit: If we reach 5,000 comments sooner, I'll start a new one).

Are there any rules about cross-posting?
Nope, you can post wherever you want, whenever you want. Last year, a lot of folks collected their responses together and posted them on AO3 under the 3 sentence fiction tag.

She forced herself to not fidget as he studied her appearance though really, there was nothing different about her except the clothes—comfortable as they were, she was still adjusting to the corsets and floor-length skirts that was the custom of these Northern countries which were unlike any garments she owned at her family's home in Calavar—she now wore.

She also reminded herself that he—a Prince who was raised as the son of a poor fisherman—was in no position to critique her choice of attire, and she grinned inwardly as she caught him repeatedly pushing up the thin golden circlet on his fair head.

"Aravis," she looked up as he finally addressed her, "the clothes, they—" he stammered for a moment and a faint blush began to appear on his face before he said, "you look... beautiful."

I love when you write Cor and Aravis! This is so well done! It shows the insecurity they both have and some Aravis' fierceness and pride and also how she is self-aware and politically astute. So good!

"Turn around so I can look at you properly," Fraser said behind him, and Ray bit back the question of how exactly that was so different than creeping up behind him and looking in the mirror, because that wouldn't really have been in the spirit of the occasion.

So instead, he turned on a dime and made an overdramatic gesture with his arms, then watched Fraser take him in, all the way from the bow tie that he'd practised so long to do up properly, to the dress shirt and the cut of his suit jacket that gave his silhouette perfect definition.

"You look good," Fraser managed and Ray stepped closer, kissed him full on the lips by way of thanks and laced the fingers of his left hand through Fraser's , leading Fraser to follow him through the door while his other hand closed tightly around the small box in his jacket pocket.

I don't know the fandom, but I like this anyways. The little details really made the piece. Thanks for the fill!
