No not that update

I did promise an AW update on Christmas Day and here it is Boxing Day.  With all the speeches, television (Merlin finale, the Doctor Who/Narnia mash up, Downtown Abbey), feasting, and Yuletide going live (I read a fic about  a texting Octopus) I figure there's no time anyway, right?

It is done but at the last minute, I started adding something that's from a line in Under Cover,
On the return for the new term, however, he and Pole discovered that the outer door to his hall had a new lock.

This proved to be no obstacle to Pole.  "I thought this might happen so I asked Susan to show me how to pick locks," Pole explained. "And Edmund found me a set of picks."

Eustace couldn't figure why a King and Queen of Narnia had learned how to open locks without keys or knew where one would buy thieves' tools.

So, it's nearly there and will be up soon and then I need to make a big push on the Narnia Big Bang and will go silent for a while.  That silent part always is hard for me, by the way, because I miss the interaction that come from fic, but without the fic, there's no framework for the interaction.

So, I hope you and yours had a festive holiday.  I made the gingerbread [livejournal.com profile] andi_horton posted here and the pumpkin bread that I think [livejournal.com profile] metonomia gave.  I am very grateful to the F-list and online community and during a time in which so many people celebrate their holidays and festivals, I wish for peace and love in your life and in the world.

Happy Holidays to you! I am hoping to watch the Dr. Who special tonight, and I will be so grateful when PBS airs the second season of Downton and I can therefore watch the Christmas special in its proper place. :) Peace, love, and joy to you and yours. :)

The Doctor Who special didn't even pretend not to be a mashup with Narnia. It was wonderfully delightful!

Hope you had happy and safe holidays!
