3SF Friending meme

There are some really wonderful folks in the 3SF.  If you'd like to get to know a little more about the posters and fillers, and share a little about yourself, go ahead and tell us in the comments below.

I'll start...

Best platform to communicate with you: Dreamwidth! :D
Active/primary interests or fandoms: I read voraciously across many fandoms (and pick up many more via crossovers and fusions) - check out my AO3 bookmarks for recs, particularly the ones with notes. On Dreamwidth I post eclectically about a wide range of things, fannish and otherwise: thematic linkspams, occasional 'How Are You (in Haiku?)' events, noodling about daily life, poetry, science, books, movies, things I don't know that I'm trying to find out, neat words, whimsical meta, parkour, exploring (I wish [community profile] flaneurs was more active!), etc.

The more informative question to ask: What am I not actively interested in?

Other things I want to share: I subscribe and unsubscribe casually; I generally read everything I subscribe to, so I periodically trim or expand my current subscriptions to better match how much time I have to keep up, how frequently my circle posts, and what I'm currently especially interested in. My policy for how someone gets access can be summed up in a few pithy stanzas.

What else? Every April I host a daily haikai fest as a public collaborative poetry thing. I love coming up with prompts and writing comments, but I haven't been writing much fic in the last two years (hoping to reverse that in the new year!). I'm [personal profile] melannen's considerably less active co-mod for [community profile] fictional_fans. I have apparently convinced a number of my friends that comment-haiku should be a thing, which delights me.

Here, have one of my favorite haiku so you know what you're in for. :o)
