While I was considering what might be a good, portable happiness, my younger cat came and posed for us. She's lying in a patch of sunshine in that special cat curl on her back with her toes pointed at her head that makes you wonder what their spines are made of. She might as well have a banner saying "look at me, I'm Cute" over her. She says "Nrrrow" which I loosely translate as "pet my tummy so I can distract you, one way or another".

Oh that is wonderful! Pearl Whitherington was mentioned in some of my women of the SOE books. She was an amazing person and I loved all the book recs too! thank you!
