Ha, this is true enough, they're all pretty terrible. I find it hard to get past the whole "this dude is a better musician than me? Oh, I'll just FLAY HIM ALIVE" thing with Apollo, which is pretty much the most massive overreaction of all time.

Yeah, Daphne gets the short end of the stick (no pun intended). Now I kind of want fic where Apollo is driven mad by guilt and tries to get revenge on Eros.

(Since it's your favorite myth, have you ever heard the song Daphne by Lia Ices? Along with Waterhouse's painting of Daphne & Apollo, which I've always loved, it's what gave me renewed interest in the myth.)
