Author's notes: Sigurd was published in 1876 by the poet William Morris, and would go on to influence Tolkien and other fantasy authors (Sigurd's sword, "The Wrath," is forged from the shards of Odin's shattered blade: These shards shall be knit together, and shall hear the war-wind blow.). Tom Sawyer was also published in 1876, the year that I'm assuming for the conclusion of Rose in Bloom.
