Yuletide Fills My Heart With Glee

I received three gifts.  THREE, each awesome.

Trixie Seven, in which my mystery author gives me Ellie Sattler the Torosaurus/Triceratops debate.  (and of course there was that Psittacosaurus in New York.)
It Was Enough in which my mystery author gives me brilliant insights and glimpses into Caz with bonus scene between the Lady of Spring and the Bastard and Iselle's swears in Roknari.  "After all, he'll have the patience of a saint."
The crack-addled T-Rex Visits the Creation Museum -- what it says on the tin.  (Real dinosaurs, like Iron Man, don't look back at explosions)

And now, I need to get back to bed.  Happy Yule!  My enormous thanks!

Merry Christmas!

. . . I just realized that you and another friend are responsible for most of the new fandoms I dive into. Dr. Who is the latest example off the top of my head. "Rthstewart has Dr Who fics? I must get caught up and READ THEM ALL."

Most of my head-canon for Narnia comes from your stories since you write on so many levels that I don't normally think about.

I've not done much Who, but thanks all the same! And Merry Christmas to you!

I read the t-rex one and loved it! I feel like Mary would tell a version of it around a campfire or something, complete with funny voices. Happy holidays my friend <33

Yee! How nice of you to share Chalion and the others with us. Thank you, and all the best of the New Year to you and your loved ones.

Thank you so much for sharing those gifts! (and for the introduction to Chalion, which I haven't ventured into until now. :) )

Lois McMasters Bujold is a fandom favorite. Lots of women read her books. She has 2 main stories- the Vorkosigan saga which is space opera and Chalion, which is theological historical/fantasy. There is another series- the Sharing Knife that I couldn't really get into. She's an awesome writer and the fan fic of her work is usually very high quality. There was a recent Narnia / Vorkosigan cross on AO3
