snacky is looking for some admin assistance.   They are also looking for betas and pinch hitters!  1,000 word minimum and the quality of the stories is always so high!  I have received wonderful stories from this:

Written in the dust by bedlamsbard (fake history!)

*Beats head against wall* One of these years, this will happen and I will not be in the middle of a move or a huge transition, or a book, or a familial crisis, and I can actually sign up and write and exchange. I never even finished the stories from last year's NFE. I will try to do better this time around.

I really can't. Right now all I'm hoping to do is finish one more chapter of one of my WIPs before then, and that's all I'm expecting. It's taking everything I've got right now to finish this darn book manuscript - much as I love the subject, I'm ready to be done, and having my stress level through the roof thanks to moving isn't helping things. Not conducive to writing.

Oh, and I have an article to finish before August, too. *snort* As if a move and a book weren't enough. It's a fun article (it really is!), but I am just praying not to have this many projects on my plate again for a long, long time.

I slept on it, and - yes. Keeping the creative mind alive is as important as droning on about late medieval / early modern environmental history. So, I shall head over and sign up.

This. This is my problem. Having the book-that-was-my-dissertation due by the end of the month and another article due at the beginning of August just ruins the prospect of being able to write fic. My head is about ready to explode as it is.
