Awww, isn't Baby Hula adorkable?

According to the Whipsnade Zoo, Baby Hula the Hippo has made her debut splash. You can read about it all here.

Which brings us to a question h_dash_h posed of whether Peter Pevensie's attractiveness is specific to camels or extends to all even toed ungulates, a question which I intend to address in Chapter 12.

Please tell me that the ungulate in question won't be a hippo! As adorable as they are, a Spare Oom hippo will have no problems with tearing Peter to little bits! Other than that, I'm incredibly excited to read Chapter 12!

The poor zookeeper trying to keep the pool clean- obviously a lost cause.
I am now looking forward to chapter 12 even more! Despite having referenced it, I still have no idea exactly what "the incident with the hippo" involved over in the AU :-)

I am really looking forward to January when I will have time to get back to fiction writing. Drowning in non-fiction deadlines at the moment, *and* with a tightly scheduled project at my day job on almost the same timeline. Grrr....

Like h_dash_h, I have been swamped in just about every possible way, and I have been valiantly trying to keep up with fic, but not succeeding very well. I am hoping to finally get to AW over Christmas - but I know the story with Peter and the camels. :)
