They really hype up Jason in the later series, don't they? Power Rangers (in all of its series) always struck me as a show that could have a lot of layers and depth to these characters and the writing glosses over so much of it. But that's what fic is for - exploring those critical moments that canon leaves out. How different would the original team be if they had other Ranger mentors?
