I'm still working out a lot of this, but my thought was that Ed and Su have, yes, been relatively the same age since the '50s, as have their siblings. I love the de-aging/re-aging/aging slowly trope, and it's so fun to use here! And the items could be real or fake, and I think make for a different story either way, so I'm still trying to choose. :)
