Snowflake challenge Day 6

Day 6 In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.

This one is a big ask but I've noticed a few others with similar.  I crave the community that builds around fic.  I'd love to find a story again that I'm hanging on every word as it develops and engage in back and forth with the author about the story and life, the universe and everything.  Where it spawns multiverses and AUs and art and inspires others to pick up and write.  I would love to recreate again what I had here a few years ago.  I miss it. I love fandom communities so very, very much and the interactions with brilliant creative people.

I was just looking at those ficlets I wrote in your 'verse today, the ones where Edmund is in Greece. That was a fun time!

I miss active communities as well. I made some of my oldest fandom friends on them and had some of my best fandom experiences.

Do you think making a community focused on fic would help? No way to guarantee you'd find a fic that keeps you up all night unable to stop, but it could make it easier to talk?

Ah, fic-based communities and collaborative multi-verses. Those were the days. I miss them sometimes too.
