Why yes I am very grumpy
Why yes, I would rather be writing a book chapter than working on my NFE. Oh please, yes, because I so adore work done in the name of "development" that others give me because "it is good for me."
Excuse me, but at my age, I'm entitled to know what is good for me and what is not. Exercise is good for me. Fannish fun is good for me (as opposed to fannish angst (gawd, what is with me a fail?) which makes me an insomniac). Watching the latest update to the Lizzie Bennet Video Diaries is good for me. Trying to write a 20,000 word chapter in three days is not good for me. oh, yeah, I get a pub credit. Yippee.

Adorbs, right? I am so in love with the casting and with Charlotte's story arc. Last week's episode with Caroline was a complete thrill for me. I'm really curious how they are going to handle th e Wickham/Georgiana/Lydia issue. I just don't think that seduction, eloping or even pregnancy is enough. I think it's going to be a bit grimmer.
And Princess Leia is going to be an X-Wing pilot, which I know some are sort of down on, but I think it's pretty cool.
Also, anyone else watching Twitter and getting depressed at not being at San Diego Comic Con? Sigh. Really, I'm sure it would be too crowded. Really.

As for the SDCC, well, Entertainment Weekly is live streaming from there throughout the con. You can watch from the EW home page (man, I wish I get paid for plugging this stuff, but eh... I haven't actually watched it).
