Nothing to see here, move along
Taking a cue from
snacky, who posted some things yesterday in advance of the Remix 10, I'll be putting some old things up on ff.net. Last year, I wrote Carrying out my design to shatter the enemies, which was a remix of the fabulous
metonomia 's She Maintained This Estate and received from the wonderful Caleon a remix of the The Palace Guard, Always On The Guard. I'm not sure if I'll participate this year or not -- Carrying out my design has been really popular on AO3 along with my Temeraire cross, so go figure. And Big Bang and Harold and Morgan, right? right?
So far, I've put up an old Polly Plummer & River Song story, Out of Place and the first part, which is the best standalone, of
The Horse and his boy, the Mare and her girl, Rat, Cat and Trickster. I've got a lot of other things I could put up -- all pasted together it was over 25,000 words. Oh self. If you want to drop a line or a review, lovely, but it's not new content, though maybe it's new to you.
This is all of course to procrastinate on my Big Bang which is going sooo slowly. I've received one lovely poem from
lotl101 (thank you!) and something from clio for Asim to share with Mrs. Caspian, but seriously, if you are yearning to have Tebbitt write Susan a poem that she can use to send secret messages via Morse code from occupied France, now is your chance. I am just not that romantic.

The Gentle Queen of Narnia was accustomed to all manner of uncomfortable transport – horses with bouncing gaits, swaying donkeys and mules, galleons, boats and dugouts, Gryphon, Giant, carts, and chariots. Crossing the Channel by the light of the moon in a gutted Lysander ranked among the very worse. Tebbitt had warned her and so she had stuffed softened wax in her ears but it was so very loud. Surely a glider would be better than this insufferable roar.
She was sitting on top of her little suitcase, her weapons were strapped and belted all over her body, and her knees were under her chin. How people did this with one man piloting the Lizzie and two passengers she could not imagine. She felt them descend, lower. Pressing her nose up against the glass she could just make out the silver strip of the beaches of the Normandy coast. The pilot would bring them in low, under Nazi radar.
She took a deep breath and let it out and the country of France began to pass beneath them. Aslan, your daughter is ready. Your will, not mine.

Just read Carrying out my design to shatter the enemies. Oddly I was listening to Gunpowder and Lead yesterday and trying to make a 'show them what girls are made of playlist', so yeah, I was in the mood for this :)

Have you seen this one, Tightrope by such_heights? 'Tis also fantastic. I have a thing for multifandom women vids :)
And I didn't realise, but apparently that was also for this halfamoon, which I haven't explored. at first flip through I like this Susan fanvid. More exploring needed...
