Hm. Upon second and third reading, I notice several things. The rose-coloured wine, deceptive and complex (just like Susan herself). That this snippet is post-HHB, which I have understood to be just prior to the White Stag, so this might be the last time the Linch and Queen Susan speak. Redhaven must be on a Lone Island, as it sounds too much like Narrowhaven to be an accident, but I don't remember where. Linch's acceptance of Rabadash and Susan, and the utter lack of rancour he feels. Lambeth's respect for the privacy of his Queen. All lovely, all spot on. Thank you!
