I also love seeing older siblings *not* being stupidly over-protective. Approving or disapproving depending on whether they like the person is fine, and of course ready to step in if anything goes wrong, but not "OMG my baby sister doesn't know what she's doing!" (With these Pevensies, of course she does).
As the younger set say, w0rd. I first went this route with Aidan and Lucy and made a point of him being someone that they were all very enthusiastic about. In fact, they are more enthusiastic than Lucy is at some points. I've had them all, repeatedly emphasize, that, as you point out, they might not like a person in particular, but each sibling respects the decisions of the others. It's really nice when someone notices these things because they are there deliberately!!
