Thanks so much. I did not find it especially sad -- I thought, except I did sniffle a few times and thought that was just me being overwrought. I am surprised that readers have found it difficult going. The biggest challenge was to write her as inattentive to emotional states and social cues around her, but still be really good in some areas, such as her quantitative and analytical ability.
