Also, whinge away if it makes you feel better, but please know that as a reader, I have no regrets whatsoever. It might have been an even better story had it included a more compelling mystery, a stronger Gertrude or complex economic policy, but as it stands now the story feels coherent, tightly woven and is satisfyling.
