Thank you so much for commenting! I wrote more about Edmund and his behavior below. Some of it is understandable. Some, not at all. Constance ended up being a lovely Slytherin. She was fun to write. I wasn't crazy about the massive exposition dump but I really wanted to get the hell out of the Lone Islands.
