I am staggered by the amount of overt and covert manipulation by the Native Narnians. I find myself wondering if the bouquet from Sir Leszi was suggested by Jalur or Jina to get Edmund and Morgan in the same room. Certainly the fact that all the Narnians became AWOL is indicitive of how much the Narnians were to be pushing this to happen. Not to mention all of Ed's siblings being gone.
I like how you have Morgan so utterly unimpressed by Edmund's martial prowess. Swords? Phhbbbt. And how she's appalled by Ed's lack of formal financial training; a nice reminder that, as bright as Edmund is, finances are her business.
So Ed and Morgan are practicing NFP, huh?
And its great how you have Ed trying to rationalize and categorize this new relationship, and how it kind of sneaks up on him. This was great. I'm just thrilled to be reading more Harold and Morgan, or any of your new stuff. On to Chapter II.
