there's something really beautiful about the way beatrice can find ways to travel through something so simple as the preparation of tea, through her maps and her mysteries, without ever leaving the island. and there's an underlying sadness to that beauty, because of the unspoken reasons why she's never left home, but that doesn't make it less beautiful. which is a big umineko theme.
