He might have been a hairy little thirteen-eyed squidapoid with an attitude and a great line in cryptic, liquidly-burbling abuse, but it was still Radek inside that weird alien body, and Radek still insisted on checking Rodney's calculations, and Radek clearly - if totally unintelligibly - thought Rodney was wrong.
And Radek wasn't going to get his tiny self off the computer keyboard, or give back any of the twelve pens he'd wrapped half of his tentacles around, or stop using them to scrawl weird squid-language hieroglyphs all over Rodney's precious calculations, or stop smacking the hands of anyone who tried to pick him up with his other tentacles (and the teeny-tiny suckers on them hurt, damn it!) or shaking that fuzz-covered little head narrowing those thirteen eyes in a manner that shouldn't have been that threatening given how big he... wasn't.
Their little squidapoid was still the second-brightest scientist on Atlantis, and if he thought Rodney was wrong, admit it or not, maybe Rodney was... wrong?
