In all honesty, she wasn't sure whether Jack Harkness was the best or the worst character that could have made eye contact with her while she watched TV and proceeded to step out of the screen and into her living room. Yes, he was flirting with her while subtly interrogating her about alien plots, which was... slightly uncomfortable and very uncomfortable respectively, given her ace-ness and social anxiety, but he wasn't freaking out, which she was pretty sure almost any other character would have done. She pulled out her phone to call her best friend; she wasn't equipped to deal with this, and while her friend wasn't either, at least she'd written some fanfiction along these lines, so she was slightly more prepared.
