Lee pulled himself up out of the dirt, coughing a little on the dust he'd breathed when he'd been slammed face-down into it. He grinned and gave a cheerful thumbs-up, his battered fingers throbbing.

"I will become a genius of hard work!" Lee reminded himself under his breath, climbing back to his feet and dropping into his ready stance.
