thank you so much! in my headcanon, the reason why gertrude is so reluctant to send hamlet back to wittenberg is because of the isolation she felt back then (and not understanding their circumstances are different, and hamlet’s needs are different) so it was important for me to communicate that. and this prompt was the perfect opportunity to explore that headcanon, so thank you for leaving it!
