Oh, wait, is this what 2ha is? I've seen the term around and heard of Dumb Husky and His White Cat Shizun, but never linked the two!
I think I have. :D Even without knowing the canon, I enjoy the angst, and thank you for the explanations! (I believe last time you assured me that someone wasn't going to die. :p)
in canon that the author said he missed his shizun (who is also the Beidu Immortal, not 100% sure if that comes across without knowledge of canon) so much that he basically became him, dressing like him and taking up his cause....
It didn't completely, but it did occur to me! But wandering the earth helping the common people and isolating yourself from the great sects also feels like such a reasonable angsty grieving wuxia + xianxia thing to do, though I admit I have no examples that come to mind.
And awwwwwww at the taking up his shizun's cause. ;_;
