Positive Feedback Loop

They should be absolutely insufferable together; they both held high opinions of themselves before, and half the time, when they're not extolling their own virtues, they're extolling each other's, which in turn only makes them more confident in themselves, which cycles back around to...

The problem, though, is that you just can't bring yourself to be annoyed with them, because the second you so much as strike up a conversation with them, you're instantly hit with such a strong dose of genuine pride in your accomplishments and hope that tomorrow will be even better (with, where 'better' means 'glamorous' a few useful tips on how to actually accomplish it) that you immediately forget you were annoyed in the first place.

It's like they're heavily radioactive, if radiation had the same basic effects as living an episode of Queer Eye in 5 minutes flat.
