She's wondered about him over the years, sure, but she'd never really thought she would ever meet him again, not after the way he'd — left, left, not betrayed, they'd never made any kind of arrangement to betray.

None of it sits right — not the too-thin look of him, not his presence here, not his interest in Ezra, not the way they're pointedly not saying anything to or about each other.

Ahsoka will stand by her choices until the day she dies, but she's wondered, over the many years of living a life that doesn't feel real most of the time, what would've become of her — of the galaxy — if she'd taken Maul's hand on Mandalore; she's wondered, over the many years of trying to convince herself of a truth she knows is false, what Maul thinks of her, of her mistakes and her failures, but now that they're here facing each other with Vader's name hanging heavy in the air, Ahsoka finds she doesn't want to know.
