"In my defense, technically it is a fruit." Laios said and gestured at his - honestly beautiful - pie shells. "So why wouldn't I use it as filling?"
While Marcille did her best not to puke, Chilchuck kept poking his slice of Barometz pie, fascinated with jiggling fruit that tasted like meat, and spoke: "It's funny, Laois, out of all of us you know the most about monsters and cooking, but no-one else could have ruined dinner like this. No way you are cooking again the next time Senshi gets sick."
--- Notes: In the manga, the party eventually encounters a Barometz or Vegetable Lamb of Tartary. The fruit looks like a lamb and tastes like meat in this canon. While you could probably make a great meat pie from it, treating it like a sweet fruit pie probably leads to disaster.
