"I love him as much as you do." Ga Eul said, and Woo Bin felt a flare of temper that almost overtook the edge of nausea that he'd been struggling with. As though any woman might claim to the same depth of care he carried after a lifetime with his best friend . . . but while Woo Bin might love Yi Jung, and he didn't doubt he was loved in return, he also didn't doubt Yi Jung's love for this sweet, pretty woman . . . and her he could keep, could show off.
"Do you really." Woo Bin spat, far rougher than he'd ever allowed himself to be around Ga Eul before; more than he normally would around any lady, but to hear the love he had carried since he was a child so easily-
"Woo Bin!" Ga Eul said sharply, and he jumped as she caught hold of his jacket collar; his eyes widened as she pressed a kiss on him, and he froze, even as she pulled away, just a little. "I am not fighting with you," she said more softly, winding her arms around Woo Bin's shoulders and holding herself close, despite the deep pink suffusing her pretty face; he jerkily wound his arms around her waist comfortingly, almost without thinking, "not to belittle you or- or taunt you or fight with you over- over him, or anything," she said, meeting his gaze fearlessly, "but . . . you love him as much as I do, and I think perhaps. . ."
Woo Bin gentled his hold around Ga Eul's waist, one hand sliding up her back as he tilted his head to brush his lips over hers in a sweeter caress.
Woo Bin had ruthlessly strangled down his own admiration for her, seeing the depth of Yi Jung's - and for all his charm, Yi Jung did not open to anyone so easily the way he had to Ga Eul - and seeing the way she had looked at Yi Jung in return, soft heart in her eyes. But- But if he dared. . .
Ga Eul's embrace eased into something more comfortable even as she drew herself closer, mouth soft beneath his own.
. . .I swear this was going to be three sentences, it got away from me, oops. ^^;
