Link tells Zelda the best places for dragon-spotting, but with her sealing power gone again she's not even sure she can see them. She climbs the cliffs east of Lanaryu Promenade and huddles in the cold in the early morning anyway, though, because hope springs eternal even if hope is a little insane.
She keeps her eyes on the sky, but even then she misses Naydra for a while, mistaking her for a wiggly little cloud. When she realizes that cloud has wiggly claws and a toothy mouth and is a dragon, her breath catches in her chest and then leaves her in a squeak. She makes no more sound while Naydra coils her slow, majestic way down the mountain, down into the valley, filling the air with sparkling frost.
Link had said the dragons don't react to people, so Zelda fully expects to simply watch Naydra pass by, but even Link doesn't know everything. Surrounded by snow and forgetting to shiver, Zelda beholds Naydra pausing mid-flight, coiling down to hover directly over her with eyes all gentle-fierce. She can think of nothing to do but offer a bow.

Breathing gentle eddies of ice, Naydra bows back.
