There was a lot Sypha could do as a Speaker and a magician that she did not share with her traveling companions simply because it wasn't necessary; for example, neither Trevor nor Alucard needed to know that she could see the strings of fate that bound people, and that more specifically, she could see the bright red string that connected the two of them.

She imagined a half-vampire and a vampire hunter would not be happy to hear that they were soulmates right now. So she'd keep it to herself, and settle for keeping them from murdering each other in the meantime.
