Most people fled from storms, feared the power behind lightning and the possibility of destruction a strong summer thunderstorm might bring. To the inhabitants of Castle Dimitrescu, however, it was a moment of great joy - at least in spring and summer. When the air got hot and humid, full with the promise of the coming tempest, the Lady's daughters received permission to run free outside, to hunt to their hearts' content. Lady Dimitrescu did not join her progeny, but she would drink her wine with a satisfied smile, and the resident maids knew the bloodthirsty, cruel nature of their lieges would be sated elsewhere, and they would be safe for the day.
