"Be careful out there, sweetheart." Agnes said as she put her tablet down on the table beside the couch.

"It's just a routine patrol, not even officially on duty," Keira said lightly, and Agnes eyed her, "I will be careful, my love." she amended, crossing the room and stepping over John, who wagged his tail but didn't rise.

"Good," Agnes kissed her, brushing a hand along her jaw, "see you later, then." she murmured as Keira pulled away again.
