I was thinking about how Orpheus was all nice and polite to Hades and played good music to charm his way through the lands of the dead, and I wanted Apollo to take the exact opposite route, to be such an obnoxious little shit that Hades caves immediately, because the last thing he wants is the ancient Greek equivalent of "It's a Small World After All" repeated on endless loop through eternity.
Re: Hades, I vaguely recall that he got into an argument with his brothers over which relics to take from their deposed father, and ended up with the helm of invisibility, which supports both arguments... but, critically, it is not sound-proof. A design flaw, no doubt. :)
