The day Zack Fair learned that Sephiroth had a sense of humor was also the day they all learned that Sephiroth was being held up as some kind of hero: one of the higher-ups fresh off the boat from Midgar came swaggering into the SOLDIER tent to cast down a newspaper on the tac table, jovially demanding, "There, General, what do you make of that?"

Sephiroth held the paper up, critically examining the headline that proclaimed him Hero of the Wutai War, then proceeded to lay it flat out and start folding. Corner to corner, pleated, then turned partially inside-out, until at last Sephiroth set his work on the table and announced, "I made a duck."
