"See," Mikey mused aloud from behind cover, "giant spider robot I get. We know what to do with giant spider robots. I mean, not that we've had specific giant spider robot training, but like, we've dealt with robots and we've dealt with spiders, so no problem, right, we got a plan-"

"Shut up, Mikey," Raph grated.

But Mikey did not shut up, or didn't seem to be able to, eyes rather wild as he continued. "But a giant spider robot that turns into a dude with a gun? How do you even plan for that?"

"By shutting up, Mikey!" Raph snapped, and in the resulting, ringing silence their eyes met. "....where'd he go?" Raph hiss-whispered.

"Right here, morsels," said a cackling voice from above, and a web of glowing blue abruptly snapped down around them both.
