(It's all the mildly-horror vacant-city vibes until Shen Wei figures out what's going on, i.e. that something's gone wrong with the portal due to [insert appropriate reason here depending on which part of canon/postcanon this is set in] causing him to end up in a slightly-to-the-left parallel version of Haixing. Bonus points for (a) other Dixingren previously sent on Hallows-related missions also being stuck there and Shen Wei immediately activating his self-sacrificing mode (why) to get them back home at all costs, (b) Changcheng being the only one able to talk and/or see Shen Wei as an extension of his "communicating with souls on another plane" power and therefore having to pass messages, including (c) Zhao Yunlan threatening to break something possibly the universe because what the hell kind of sense does this make that he could videocall people in YOHE ten thousand years ago but not even talk to Shen Wei when he's all-but-physically right there – )
