"Miraculously, it survived." Piggy held the - rather raggedy-looking, admittedly - Kettch puppet out for inspection. "You're the only one qualified to handle him. We all agreed."

"I notice 'we' didn't include me."

"It did include General Antilles, however."

...well, he couldn't argue with that. Face accepted his fate and took the puppet from Piggy. His friend gave him a satisfied, squinty-eyed nod.

"And thus," he pronounced, "the mantle is passed."
