Conference on Olympus (Greek Mythology; Hades/Persephone, assorted gods)

Attention drawn away from where Apollo and Zeus were arguing faced off against Poseidon and her husband, Persephone eyed Athena dubiously, then glanced over to where her mother and Hestia were arguing over something in clearly bitter, if quiet tones.

. . .personally, she didn't think the goddesses were any less prone to bickering, or indeed causing disasters when their tempers were roused - her own included, she thought wryly.

She glanced back at her husband in time to catch him looking at her and smiled faintly; Hades dipped his head shallowly to her before a shout made him turn away, expression going cold and hard.
