Aang had been gone for three weeks doing... well, whatever it was he did when he took off. Katara didn't mind; she had enough company with the kids running around and her brother visiting.

But it occurred to her that maybe Sokka wasn't as used to Aang's habit of popping up unannounced at breakfast when, one sorry morning, she heard in quick succession:

"Hey Sokka!"
"Wha-!"
"Ow!"
"Hey, give that back!"
