It was hard to imagine two people more different, but Usagi and Mikey kept tripping into common ground. They traded comic books for manga; they turned 'creative ways to avoid training time' into equal parts game and competition; and they shared an endless appetite for snacks. And when Usagi crumpled under an excess of emotion, sobbing I don't understand why I can't into another test, Mikey was the one who sat by her and muttered yeah, I get it.
