This is what you wanted, wasn’t it Jon Snow? Didn’t you beg your father to let you go to the wall? So why does it now feel as if you are being pulled apart? Why does it feel like you have never been free to make your own choices? This is what you wanted, so abide by your vow and forget your family, forget your home. What happens in the South is not your concern so turn your eyes North and blot out the letters that come with increasingly distressing news. Don’t even think about breaking your vow, your vow is not yours to break, you are not free to go assist the king in the North, you must stay where you are. You cannot let injustice go unpunished, cannot allow your happiness to blind you to justice needing to be done. Set yourself aside, the only thing that matters is honour, justice and truth. Forget about your family for they are yours no longer.
