Every time Colin comes home from college, he needs some time to decompress from his high flights, which means that for a few hours, he buzzes about the place, chattering, rediscovering his tracks, occasionally flailing, and darting in all directions.

Dickon just waits him out, quiet and present and with a slight smile, until Colin's circles around him become smaller and slower. Then Dickon reaches out and draws him in, carefully carding his fingers through Colin's hair while he rests.
