Jowd would be the last to claim any sense of fashion, or he would be if wife and friend didn't firmly share that spot already, but even he could see that green didn't suit Cabanela. For his sake he kept his amusement at bay for now—it could come later in comfort and he did owe the man after all—but it was a hard thing when his own large coat looked several sizes larger than it already was on Cabanela's much slimmer frame, and if done correctly could likely be wrapped around him at least twice, which on second thought may have been a good idea as Cabanela shivered somewhere in there, hair still dripping water. Ah well, there were always other methods and Jowd wrapped his arm around Cabanela's narrow shoulders buried under the coat's folds and held him there until he warmed up from the impromptu swim in the river.
