Ugh, for some reason this post did not surface to the top of the page when I was skimming Dreamwidth the last week or so. No wonder I got so confused when you mentioned new fic elsewhere and I didn't see anything about it.

I think I need to start from the beginning as it looks different from the last time I read it. But yay, new fic for me to read then. :-) And 12K is nothing if one has time (or vacation days) to read it all in one go!
