Yue wakes with the voice - there is never anything more to go with it - offering devotion and longing and someone who sees her, and wipes away her crystalline tears before she rises, and smiles, and moves out among her people, her heart full and heavy with the love she bears for them.

When Yue hears almost the words in the voice of a sweet man she knows would make them true for her, would sail away with her and offer devotion truly to her, it nearly breaks her - but Yue has borne this longing her whole life, and carries it with the strength of her heart's love for her people; knowing the voice is not merely a figment only makes her happy, in a sorrowful way, and she regrets the pain in clear blue eyes, but could never regret her choice, made for her people, whether they know it or not.
