“I can see possibilities for the grapes, bananas, even the kiwis,” Morgan mused aloud, contemplating the cornucopia that used to be their bed, “but what do they expect us to do with the horned melon?”

“What worries me is the grapefruit,” Edmund responded and made such a puckered face that Morgan laughed aloud even as she made a mental note: if his imagination wasn’t up to the job, well, there was nothing she loved so much as a challenge.
