I like how you mix tones here - switching easily from 'favored child of Zeus Thunderer' to 'hard pressed not to roll her eyes'. It makes the contrasts between her deflection and the reality of what she was actually up to even funnier.
Also, yes perfect the echo of how Gen relates to various gods (I can totally imagine Athena telling Odysseus 'Stop Whining' and 'Go To Bed' as appropriate...or delegating that to Hermes while she goes to get another drink, hee.)
